Diverse Uses of RDP

The application of RDP permeates the entire spectrum of dry-mix mortar systems, serving as a key additive that enhances 

the final performance of materials:

External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems:

    In basecoat renders and adhesive mortars, RDP, by forming an interpenetrating polymer network, greatly enhances the mortar's cohesive 

strength, flexural strength, and impact resistance, while maintaining the system's water vapor permeability. It is one of 

the key components ensuring the safety and durability of insulation systems.

Self-Leveling Underlayments:

    The addition of RDP enhances the cohesion and abrasion resistance of self-leveling mortars, while improving interfacial adhesion to the substrate. 

Low-viscosity RDPs also ensure good flowability and defoaming properties, preventing dry shrinkage cracks caused by segregation or bleeding.

Waterproofing Mortars and Putties:

    In Polymer Cementitious Waterproofing Coatings or waterproofing mortars, RDP fills the capillary pores between cement hydration products, 

forming a dense film structure. This significantly reduces water absorption rate and enhances impermeability pressure. In interior and exterior wall putties, 

it provides excellent sandability and adhesion, effectively inhibiting efflorescence.

Repair Mortars and Construction Adhesives:

    When used for concrete repair, RDP ensures a strong bond at the interface between new and old concrete, providing shrinkage and elastic modulus 

compatible with the old concrete, thus ensuring compatibility.

With the global rise of green building and prefabricated construction, the demand for high-performance, eco-friendly building materials continues to grow.
