What Does Cellulose Do in Tile Adhesive?

In cement-based tile adhesives, cellulose ether is mainly used to modify the fresh mortar properties.


Its key functions include:

1) Viscosity control: Helps adjust mortar consistency and application behavior.

2) Water retention: Helps the mix retain water during application and curing.

3) Suspension: Helps maintain a more uniform mortar system.
