Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP) is supplied as a dry powder for use in dry mix mortar formulations.
For manufacturers and distributors, proper storage is important because moisture, high temperature
and pressure can increase the risk of powder blocking during storage.
Rather than selecting an RDP only by the term “non-caking,” buyers should consider both the
required mortar performance and the storage conditions.
RDP should be protected from conditions that can affect powder handling.
According to JINTEDIFU product storage guidance, the main conditions to control are:
1) Moisture: Keep the product away from moisture during storage.
2) High temperature: Avoid prolonged storage above 30°C.
3) Pressure: Avoid storing the bags under excessive pressure.

5) Mortar performance through a small laboratory trial if necessary.
If the product has exceeded the recommended storage period, performance should be verified before production use.
